Been coming here since the 80s when it was Chinatown express and its still delicious. The wings are amazing, I normally get chow mein rice wings and broccoli and beef but everything is worth it. The staff is friendly the prices aren't outrageous but most importantly the food is Awesome. So come try it out I know you won't be disappointed.

Hands down my fav Chinese takeout. Ever. Their stuff is always fresh/delicious. Their staff is friendly and accommodating. Portioning is ample/ generous. Truly an echo park staple. Side note: People who are posting these one star reviews on here in the last day or two just don’t get it……... They can’t separate the fact that this restaurant received a recognition plaque from THE CITY OF LA and that Bass is just a seat holder/warmer. I’m all about supporting businesses that are run by good people and Combination A is just that. Whichika, or “Witch” runs the place and he’s just an all-around nice guy. Super personable, I feel like he would be the kind of person that remembers your name, even if he hasn’t seen you in a while. The woman that made my plate was also sweet. I had Combo A on my list of places I wanted to visit for a few years now and we finally braved the 35 minite drive on a Friday night and it was absolutely worth it. They were out/low on a couple of the entrees but the kitchen was constantly replenishing so we did have to wait a bit for the orange chicken and the potatos and chicken but I am so glad we did. The orange chicken is my far the best I've ever had. Crispy and crunchy yet still meaty so big don't feel like all you ate was batter. The chicken and potatos were incredible as well.
