This place advertised itself wrongly. It promotes itself as Hong Kong cafe but you can tell right away it is not because they use simplified Chinese writing. They do have a lot of HK dishes on the menu, but they don’t really taste like HK cooking. To be objective, the food tastes not bad but far from the HK taste. Their French toast is not the HK style French toast. It tastes not bad but the portions like 60% of what you’d expect. Overall, the portion is small for everything we ordered. This spot is a total hidden gem. Everything tastes authentic and have a good balance of the favor. Nice environment without a big pricy tag if you looking for authentic Hong Kong style food in NJ. Definitely will visit again since I don’t want to commute to Chinatown NY anymore.

Very spacious cafe. There is a kiosk to order items to-go or you can dine-in. Service is friendly and efficient. We dined-in early both times so no long wait for food. Speaking of food, everything we ordered were delicious. Highly recommend their casseroles (砂锅): 卤味 (chicken and pork feet) and 土豆粉 (potato noodles- not listed on the menu but on their specials poster) and the Hong Kong style milk tea. Mochi with brown sugar- very fresh and HOT (don't burn your mouth like we did!). Actually tasted like brown sugar. Not too oily and just the right amount of sweetness. Also recommend! Popc
