Usually I like to post before pictures of the food, but I was pretty hungry today, just wanted to have a little lunch with the family on this day of love, and everything was great, I might even go as far as to say this was the best chicken fried steak I've ever had!!! It was literally fork tender and delicious! Will definitely come back to try some other things.

Been coming here for years and always loved it until recently. Now we just like it. Prices seem to have skyrocketed ($14 for queso, $3.50 for a fountain drink, etc.), but service and quality of food has gone way down from their high standards. Food used to be exceptional, some of the best in town. We might adjust to the high prices if the food was still as good. We’ll probably keep going for the seafood enchiladas on the discount night, but overall it’s lost some luster.

I called to make a reservation for 5 and I was told they don’t do reservations unless over 8 people in the party. He then asked why I wanted a reservation and I explained that my youngest has autism and we’d like a certain seat or booth. He stims by rocking and sometimes flapping his hands. I don’t like it when people rudely stare at him so a booth makes going out to eat more comfortable. He was nice and said let me get my manager so manager was super nice too and said yeah we can help you out. He said what time. I was thinking 7 but went with 630. I ordered the grilled salmon topped with a lemon caper glaze, served with vegetables ($17.89). It was very good—the portion was generous and the price was reasonable. Interurban has truly stood the test of time, and it’s easy to see why.
