As a Puerto Rican, I feel obligated to warn people especially those who have never had real Puerto Rican food that this place does not represent our cuisine authentically. The food quality is seriously disappointing. The papas rellenas (potato balls) are made with instant/fake mashed potatoes, which is simply not how it’s done in Puerto Rico. That alone tells you everything you need to know about the level of care going into the cooking here. Walked in and emediately was thrown back to the smells of my PR abuelita cooking! We just flew in from Florida and had to stop! Felt a bit hesitant when we pulled into the parking lot, but dont let that deter you! The food was really good. I had the mofongo with shrimp, husband had the chuleta kan kan, the table split the app sampler. All delicious! Would definitely go back to try other dishes.
