This is my second time here for taco Tuesday and the Asada tacos was horrible, the taco meat was old, burn, dry and had a taste like it’s been left out for a wile and looked more like chorizo. The service was good and the place looks nice. The pozole also was horrible.

Cute, little intimate Mexican restaurant. I can’t find other places that do taco Tuesdays nowadays that is affordable. The people here are kind. The tacos and chicken tamales are delicious. Tamales are somewhat too spicy and they add too much mayo for my liking. Other than that, still a yummy and favorite restaurant!

Elgin, it used to be El Faros for the best burrito in town, but no longer. La Flor has taken the crown. The tortilla shell is always grilled, inside fresh thinly sliced lettuce and onions and fresh cilantro elevate the refried beans, rice, and give it the perfect combo. Their red sauce is amazing. Sorry El Faros. I gave you multiple chances to beat La Flor but was repeatedly disappointed. The only thing better at El Faro now is the pickled vegetables. Go to LA Flor ya'll, don't live in the past.
