I’ve driven by it plenty of times and always wondered. Well a friend invited me out to lunch. I will return. The food was great. I had the BBQ Sandwhich which was recommended by the very nice waitress. The sauce was perfect the meat was good. The fries were well seasoned. (Pictures or it didn’t happen) I didn’t know it was gonna be this good or I would’ve taken pictures before. You only get the after.

The food was okay. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t good. I had the smothered pork chops, Mac and cheese, and sweet potato’s along with a strawberry cake. The pork chops were basic didn’t really have a seasoning. The sweet potato’s and Mac and cheese I did love. The cake was just a standard tasing. The staff there were very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant could have used some deep cleaning. Overall loved the service though even with it being busy.

I ordered out so I can't really rate on atmosphere other than from my pick up- small, somewhat dated, but obviously a local favorite as they always seem busy when I pass when visiting Bartlett. I ordered ribs, slaw & baked beans. The ribs, 100%, were some of the best fall-off-the-bone ribs I've eaten. Most places seem to pull ribs before they reach fall-off-the-bone done, but not Fat Larry's. The ribs are the perfect done! The sauce was the surprise- I like rubbed ribs, sauce on-the-side & their sauce was like a sweet chili bbq blend. It was delicious and the beans were perfectly cooked.
