We ordered the 3 PC dark, with beans & slaw also fried okra, fries, corn nuggets and sweet potato pie. I must say everything was soo good and fresh. I do like my chicken with flavor with a little spicy - thats how GUS does it. The sweet potato pie was homemade, I will visit again when in the neighborhood. I like the fact that you could see the kitchen area, everyone worked as a TEAM. We will try the location closer to home next time. This was a to go order but the atmosphere seem down home and cozy.

My husband and I ordered three piece dinner with coleslaw and beans. Chicken seemed like it had been fried twice. Chicken was hard to chew and seemed old. coleslaw was good, beans Need more flavor. Service was great workers were courteous. I gave it three stars, but don’t think I will return.

Calvin and Caitlin are the two most awesome people at Gus in Bartlett. Let me tell you...if you ever ever want to make your sure you have top quality make sure Calvin is there. He is the best person working in the kitchen. He makes sure the food is piping hot and if you have an issue he will take care of it. Caitlin is the cashier, host, bar server, and the whole establishment. I have never seen someone who can multi task like her and never miss a beat. Every time I come in she has a smile 😃 on her face and is such a joy to talk to. That woman is a very honest person...plus she is patient

I’m not a fan of waiting, but this location is impressively quicker and more efficient than the other Gus’s locations. Our waitress was professional and super friendly, which made the meal even better. The fried chicken came out hot, crispy, and just as delicious as at their other location. The place is neat and well-kept. Overall, a very decent and satisfying experience.
