Not going to lie I’ve had Spanish food before and was really looking forward to this. I’m disappointed. The rice had no flavor. The steak was no good. I had half steak half beef ribs. The beef ribs was most and tender so was the steak but the flavorrrrrr ugh. Spanish food in Brooklyn is better 😭

Pollos a la Brasa is truly one of our favorite places, and it feels like home every time we go. We’ve known the family that owns it for years, and they are some of the kindest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet. Clarabel is so sweet, and her brother is amazing— they always make you feel welcomed and appreciated. The food is absolutely fantastic and never disappoints. I haven't been here in years. Went back this week for lunch and was excited to see they had a lunch special. Once I ordered, I realized that the lunch portion is not worth the money. They gave me a lot of rice and beans but only filled one small pocket with roast pork. Before they used to fill the whole plate with everything. I asked for "some yuca", the lady literally gave me ONE piece. Food was good but I likely wont be back. I can get so much more at the Dominican Restaurant in Uniondale or Hempstead for almost the same price and will last me two days.

The food is fresh and seasoned well. They have the best guacamole and shrimp civeche I ever had. It was nice and chunky. It satisfied every flavor craving I needed. The chicken they chopped was so tender and fell right off the bone. I wish I lived closer to them because I would visit almost everyday. So many options of delicious cuisine at a very affordable price. Take my advice and GO. Go for me. Tell them Chrissy sent you. You won't regret it.
