The staff is wonderful. I am grateful for the service and for their welcoming attitude But unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. My appeal to the owner: please, your establishment urgently needs renovation. Keep the retro concept if you wish, it has charm, but at least repair the ceiling, which is literally falling apart. Please also stop cutting corners on quality. Food improperly handled/ cooked by kitchen staff. I tried to eat it but when I bit into partially raw chicken, I knew it wasn't me. When I mentioned it, it was met with coldness, defensiveness and was treated like I was trying to get out of a bill. Which I wasn't I didn't even ask for it to be taken off the bill. My husband got sick 30 minutes after. I've been queasy for hours. We both had chicken dishes.

I cant believe it took me 4 yrs to stop in here! I moved to the island a few years ago and have heard great things about Dove diner so i finally decided to treat myself to a nice brunch on a random weekday. They have a huge parking lot. Came in and was immediately greeted by Anthony. I looked through the menu and well i kind of knew what i wanted before i even walked in here! For some reason i was cravin for strawberry pancakes and no matter how tempting everything else looked i didnt wanna steer away from my goal lol. Food is amazing and with decent portions. I would say this is a 10/10 restaurant in terms of food quality and quantity and the prices are spot on. Friendly staff and very helpful. Free parking at the rear of the diner makes things easy as well. I have tried the big boy breakfast in the morning and the cheese burger meal at night and being a 230lb male, I can take a lot of food. At both times I was more than full by the time I finished my plate. Highly recommended.
