We ate at Thai Recipe Bistro on a Sunday night around 7:45 PM, and it ended up being one of the best meals we had in Phoenix. The restaurant is located just north of downtown, and even though it was busy, we had no problem finding parking and did not have to wait for a table. As the night went on, it definitely got much busier, so I can understand why this place is popular. We started with the vegan dumplings, which were absolutely delightful and full of flavor. The worst thing about this place is it is 5 hours flight away from where I live. We had the Panang Curry with chicken and Pad Thai with beef and they were absolutely amazing. The portion was GINORMOUS and the three of us split 2 plates amongst us and we still couldn’t finish the pad thai. The thai tea is also very creamy and legit. I had a great time also watching the World Cup match that was on and the servers were all kind and friendly. Fantastic finds in Phoenix!

We had a great first experience. Although we aren’t avid Thai eaters, we’re just getting into the scene. Everything was good except for the chicken pot stickers, which lacked flavor and, for some reason, tasted like sink water. Other than that, everything else we had was amazing. However, it was expensive, so be prepared. I asked for a side order of bell peppers and was charged $6.54, which I think is ridiculous. He also charged eight dollars for a Boba tea. I did a take out order here and I cannot wait to come back! The reviews don’t lie, these portions are absolutely HUGE! It fed me for three days. The pad Thai was saucy and flavorful with lots of tender beef. My favorite pad Thai I’ve found in the city so far!!
