This little gem shines brightly in Escondido. I met my Mom at EscoGelato with the intent of enjoying italian ice cream. Both my mom and I were delighted with our smoothy cream dessert. My Mother enjoyed a large Strawberry Chip, and I delight in a Salted Almond. Right after we placed our order, this place became popular. Clearly if you are on Escondido looking for delicious gelato, then I strongly recommend EscoGelato.

Their gelato is amazing, lots of flavors to choose from and offer vegan options. Food is tasty. Iced or hot mocha are delicious! Teas are made perfectly. The staff is kind and considerate. Also appreciate them allowing anyone to purchase a kids portion when you just want a small amount and don’t want to waste food.

Just ate at EscoGelato—my second time, as this place got me hooked as i was here about a year and a half ago as I live in Vista. As a foodie, I highly recommend this place. They offer a champion lunch menu with mostly healthy options; I had the Mediterranean salad and a Caprese panini. The gelato makes a perfect dessert. They let you sample flavors before choosing, and everything is homemade. If you like gelato, this is the place to go. They have seating both inside and outside. The service is excellent, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
