I work in Eureka and I am SHOCKED I haven't been here before. The homemade sauces are the best I've tried in the state. Excellent food, excellent prices. This is the best lunch I've had in weeks. What.a.treat. 11/10

The workers were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They seemed to like working there. I got take out so I didnt stay to eat, but the food was pretty mid. I got the 2 meat plate with Mac and cheese and the sweet potato mash. Nothing to write home about. The Mac and cheese was decent, but clearly velveeta, the sweet potato was literally just sweet potato, no butter, no seasoning but it was well cooked. Given the fact that much of the north coast is totally void of bbq, Humboldt smokehouse does enough to hit the craving. Their website menu prices are not accurate so took a picture.

Tried Humboldt Smokehouse recently and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The low and slow barbecue is packed with flavor, and you can tell everything is made from scratch. The burnt ends were incredible, and the smoked pork belly was rich and perfectly cooked. The house sauces add a lot of variety, and it is hard to pick a favorite. Service was friendly and efficient, and the place had a relaxed, casual vibe with a moderate noise level. Portions were generous, and the quality easily matches the price.
