This place came highly reccomend and I will say that the pizza and the meatballs lived up to expectations. Both fantastic. The place was clean and the service was wonderful. We were seated quickly. Order taken immediately and food brought out quickly. Drinks were refilled the moment they were low. It loses a star because of the atmosphere. Not because there is anything wrong with the interior, per se...but the booths. They are so small. The perimeter of the dining room is packed with booths meants for people under 5'8". Stopped by Giovanni’s Italian Restaurant for the first time and had to wait about 20–25 minutes for a table… but let’s be honest, if it wasn't good, you wouldn't be waiting. I remember this place so well ! A buddy and myself were in Dayton for an Air Force related event in 1995. We had a thin-crust pizza at Giovanni's and the words to describe it would simply be mesmerizing, epic, and clearly off-the-charts.
