We dined here for Valentines day. Our server could have taken a lesson on customer service. He was nice but very timid and seemed nervous. He also forgot about my drink for about 30 minutes and apologized but at that point would have appreciated something to make it right. The other staff was attentive and brought us our meals, silverware and condiments. I had to ask for water refills each time. The starter salad with the lemon vinegarette was delightful. Kate was an amazing server! She was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel taken care of from the moment we sat down. She had a great attitude, checked on us often without being overbearing, and made sure everything came out exactly right. She was knowledgeable about the menu, gave great recommendations, and made the whole experience even better. The food was excellent, but Kate’s outstanding service is what really stood out. The star of the show here for me was definitely the rabbit leg, followed closely by the best carrot cake I’ve ever had in my life. The frosting was so light and delicate. Absolutely to die for. The duck was a little on the game-y side for my tastes, but the person who ordered ate every bite(this was actually their second time back recently and ordered this same meal). Fantastic and friendly. I’d definitely come back and try something new.
