As a German I had to try it when I was downtown. Actually authentic to a certain degree. Strong recommendation for the Jäger Schnitzel which was well done. I'm a fan of the gravy they used and the Spätzle are so good in combination to that. Kraut was nice. If I had to criticize something it'd be the beer. American beer just can't compare to German beer.

Nice ambiance and tasteful German decor without feeling overdone. As someone with German roots, I appreciated that touch. The music selection was excellent, the beer selection was broad, and the mustard selection was a fun surprise, I ended up trying all of them. Service was also a highlight. Our waiter was kind, attentive, and very easy to talk to. My main complaint is the pricing. The food portions felt extremely small for the cost, especially the cake and sides, and the value just did not feel there. Really good place — Pierogis especially good. Wursts served on bread like a hot dog — would have preferred them on a plate. Sautéed peppers very good. Spaetzle Mac/cheese @ red cabbage also excellent. Waiter was fabulous. Would return!
