Best taco place. Pork Belly, sesame ribeye (has Kimchi in it, unusual but yum!), crispy oyster were my favs. Gonna come back and try other flavors. The pomenagrate limonada was refreshing and pleasant. The entrance can be a little confusing (the arrow points to the middle of the road) but it's around the corner. Tacos are good. These are a bit mid. The atmosphere and the staff really carried this place. I tried a lot of tacos. Only wanted to finish and reorder one taco. The chicken verse. Applause for that one. And applause for the churros for being fresh and actually great. However. The real disappointment was the shrimp taco. The shrimp was AMAZING. Flavorful. Good texture. Then they added a THICK grainy sweet sauce that throws it all off. The sesame ribeye taco is sweet. Carne asada was too well done. The salsa and guacamole was nice. We were a large group (10 people) and we were so impressed by the service—we had no reservation but were seated fast (it was early for dinner), food and drinks were delivered efficiently, and our server was very kind. Everything we ordered was delicious, this was no one’s first time at Bar Taco so we knew to expect great stuff. I personally love their rice bowls (veggie or meat), and their tacos are of course amazing. They’re small so they recommend getting 3-5 usually. They also make a great guac to go with chips.
