Had such a great experience at Da Claudio NYC Ristorante. I had the black linguine and it was amazing, and my family tried the pasta carbonara and the pappardelle alla Fiesolana — honestly everything we ordered was so good. The restaurant itself is also really beautiful and well designed, with such a nice atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel special without being too fancy or uncomfortable. Wonderful experience!! The waitress was extremely attentive and made sure we felt welcomed. One of us did not like our drinks and she noticed and offered alternatives right away!! Made a reservation for lunch which turned out to be entirely unnecessary. The place was empty enough for walk-ins on a weekday. My friend was spectacularly late but the servers were kind enough to let me sit there for an hour doing nothing and looking grumpy, which I really appreciated. I got a sandwich. It was decently sized but could use some more flavor. I liked the side salad better.
