Smokestack Roasters is such a cozy hidden gem. I stopped in while my car was being worked on next door (it’s in a more industrial-looking area), but once you’re inside it’s warm and inviting. There are plush high-back chairs, booths along the windows, and a big bookshelf that feels like a little free library. The coffee here is honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t call myself a coffee snob, but my husband definitely is — and he loves every flavor he’s tried here. They offer some really unique options, and they also have pastries that I’ve yet to try but am looking forward to. The staff is extremely friendly. My only complaints are the wait time and the atmosphere. Even for just one or two cups of coffee, it can take upward of 10 minutes, which can be a bit much.
