The food is good. Some of the best jerk chicken I've had. Everything else? Not so good. Good Hope staff, specifically Kiki, lean heavily into the stereotype of Jamaican restaurant staff. She gets an attitude when you point out that she brought you food with salad when you specifically said no salad. Her response -- "Can't you just scrape it off?" They repeatedly don't listen to simple instructions and try to rush you. The elderly lady is nice though even Kiki bullies her. Don't let me find a better jerk chicken because that's the only thing that keeps me going back.

I visited Good Hope Jamaican Restaurant for breakfast a few times and I’ve had the same issue each visit with portion sizes. The food tastes good, but the servings are very small for what you’re paying. For example, the callaloo and saltfish was only about a two tablespoons full. That is unacceptable. I also tried calling to speak with a manager or supervisor to address the concern, but I was told no one was on duty and there was no clear timeframe for when someone would be available. I like the food, but the consistency and portioning need improvement so customers feel they are getting fair

I went to Good Hope with the good hope and intention, that I was going to get delicious food at this location and my good hope was correct. I tried their oxtail, rice and peas with cabbage and plantain and it was tasty. It was made perfect to my liking as I'm sure you will enjoy it also. Good Hope Jamaican Restaurant's customer service wasn't as great as the food tasted but it is what it is. Customer service was just ok.

Stopped by on a quick break, line was too long to order food so I got a pattie and a rock cake. I tried the beef and the chicke. I really enjoyed the beef, next time I'll get spicy. This place you can't go there if your pressed for time. I'm going to try again to see if I can get a plate.
