I pulled into the shopping center hoping to find a burger joint or maybe a taqueria, and all the sudden the clouds parted, then I heard an eerie almost heavenly sound and rays of light shone down upon the Brookfield Restaurant as if guided by a heavenly power. Giving this location 3 stars for online delivery service because each time I order carved roast beef dinner, either the bread or english muffin side of choice I pick was never provided. I have been ordering delivery from this location for a long time and the first time I ordered the roast beef the delivered item did not include my choice of side, I shrugged it off and said to myself they forgot so I just kept ordering delivery. Mind you, the bag the delivered food comes with is sealed so you cannot blame the delivery driver here, all the resturants fault if an item is not in the sealed bag. Th

The food was satisfactory; the fish and chips were good, and the burger was acceptable. We ordered dessert, which is prepared in-house. We selected a mini brownie with ice cream and a slice of cheesecake. The brownie was quite good. The cheesecake, however, was average in taste, but I began to notice an itchy sensation in my mouth after eating it, and I discovered a hard object in the crust. Brookfields has the best chicken tortilla soup I've ever had. I tasted it the first time years ago and it was so amazing that I went back the next day, hoping they'd have it again. I gingerly asked the waitress, carefully hopeful, "Do you have the chicken tortilla soup today?" She grinned and said, "Honey, if we didn't have that soup every day there'd be a riot."
