I was here on a Saturday, apparently, during their slowest time. Still, my food was hot, fresh, and not even remotely overly greasy. My fish was fried to golden perfection. As an added bonus, the staff was having fun, which was nice to see. I was pleasantly surprised with how good the fish sandwich was. Even though I haven't eaten here in years, I will likely come back whenever I'm craving fish.

Went here with my wife and 6 others after church on Sunday, January 18, 2026 around 1pm. Very clean restaurant and nice and courteous staff. For the most part, food was prepared with little wait time and was good. However, six of us that ordered fried fish, some of the fish was raw and way under cooked inside the breading. When we showed the gentleman behind the counter, he was nice and apologetic and promptly provided fish that was properly cooked to all of us. I love eating at Captain D's and I truly hate giving only two star rating. Depending on the response or reply of this review from man

Was rung up for wrong order and under senior discount. They gave us. Two piece fish meal instead of a 3 which we ordered. When told the "manager" told me she would have to charge for the extra and I said ok thinking it too will be under senior discount and a little confused. One piece of fish was 2.64!! It was their mistake and the cashier said it was. So much for giving seniors a little price break.

The food here is horrible the fish is double fried to the point it dark brown. Grease saturated like a sponge. Long John Silvers don’t have that much grease dripping out of fish. This entire plate went in trash. The food is garbage.
