It was our first time dining at Filomena’s and we can’t wait to go back. Dinner was delicious and the portions were generous. The service was excellent and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. José was our waiter and he couldn’t have done a better job. When we pivoted at the last minute asking if we could also get a side order of meatballs (which were tender and delicious), José said sure, and they came out a few minutes later with our dinners. Easily the best dining restaurant on LI! Celebrated my college graduation here and everything was phenomenal. The servers were very attentive and patient with orders, never had to ask for refills, everything was super organized and planned. Food is extremely delicious, and atmosphere is cozy!! Went in for an early dinner (5:00 PM). Immediately greeted with a warm welcome and seated right away. Michele and Miguel were both amazing, they treated myself and my mom with so much kindness. Both were very informative about the menu and the specials. The food was incredible. All their mozzarella is made fresh in house, the table side service is phenomenal. We’re from Florida and I was CRAVING authentic Italian food. 1 MILLION/10, I would highly recommend anyone to come here and get incredible family-first food!

Didn't love my food, can't even say I liked it. I ordered the veal, and it wasn't tender, it was tough. Most of the food here is usually phemonimal. Not this day. It was definitely disappointing. The appetizers were the best part of the meal. Even dessert was disappointing, the Italian cheesecake was way too watery, almost undercooked.
