Extremely friendly staff. Manager came by to check on us to make sure everything was okay. Food delicious! Chicken wings had a slight crisp and Amazing light sauce! Best I ever had! Pork fries appetizer was absolutely delicious! Amazing brisket, melted in our mouths. Amazing smoke ham. Coleslaw, although good, is not creamy finely chopped type. It's a pricey experience, but when the food this amazing, so worth it. However, the pricing is in line with other smoke house food establishments and this one, by far, is the best we've experienced! We will return!

Blackhog BBQ is clearly a local favorite, and it only took one bite to understand why. ​The Brisket was perfectly cooked—tender, juicy, and rendered with just the right amount of fat.Their house-made sauces are impressively smokey and smooth, avoiding that harsh "bite" you find at lesser BBQ joints. As someone from North Carolina, I have high standards for collard greens. Visited on a Sunday night before they close and the quality of the food was still delicious. We had the Beef Brisket and Burnt Ends alongside the Mofo sandwich. The good was good enough that we ordered some for the next day! Strongly recommend.

Been here twice and both times were a great experience! Great food, service, & atmosphere. Got the downtown MOFO, and a full rack of ribs. Best sides were the Mac and Cheese, and baked beans. The potato salad is great but a little too “eggy” for our taste. Orange crush was perfect as well. Fresh squeezed in house made for a refreshing treat. We will be back!
