My in-laws were in town last night and we knew just where to take them - everything on the menu is absolutely amazing and our whole table thoroughly enjoyed their meals! The Shells & Cheese on the kids menu was devoured by my 4-year-old (he loved the "cheese foam" on top), and the TropiNegroni, Espresso Martini, and Georgia Boy cocktails were a hit with the adults. The Tavern Burger melts in your mouth and all of the sides pair perfectly with the entrees. There is nothing about the experience that was negative. I went to Wye Oak Tavern for dinner with a small group. The waitress, Ashley was great - helpful and friendly without being intrusive. We had the Ms Edison Ham and fries for appetizers. The prime rib was perfectly cooked. I tried my partner’s swordfish which was equally good. Brussels sprouts and the mashed potatoes were excellent. Everything beginning to end was perfect. Only recommendation is to be prepared for the bill because you definitely pay for perfection.

The restaurant has been beautifully repurposed from a 19th-century Catholic convent and girls' school chapel, and the atmosphere is unmatched. The culinary experience completely lived up to the ambiance. We tried the cocktail recommendations from Chaz, and he hit it out of the park. What really sets this place apart is the team. My partner took me here for my birthday. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. We absolutely adored the layout and the food. We had the lobster periogies, crab cake and brussel sprouts. We finished our night with the lemon meringue dessert (it was exquisite). This restaurant is definitely more than dining, it's an experience.
