I visited Anika’s last night. It was a little busy at first, but we were able to grab a booth right away, which was a great start. We ordered the Volcano Roll, Mango Crunch Roll, and Instagram Roll. The Mango Crunch Roll was definitely my favorite. It had a nice kick, so if you like spicy food, this one is a must-try. The Volcano and Instagram rolls were both really good too. My mom and I wanted to go this one Japanese restaurant but parking is too full and decided to turn around to go to this one instead. I’ve been here before but that’s been years since I last visited. This is a surprising experience because I didn’t expect a place to be almost empty on a Saturday afternoon. The place looks nice though. I really like the art and decorations here. Also, it’s not humid here since they probably use AC. We wanted to order 9pc sashimi but didn’t eat other items that come with it since we ordered our own lunch specials. It’s just too many food. The service and the vibe of the restaurant is very cool and my waiters were very attentive and nice! The food was okay. I got the Jumbo Jim roll, it had way too much cream cheese inside and I couldn't tell the flavor of the roll. The miso soup had no tofu and some of the seaweed was too hard to chew. I did like the complimentary crab salad.

Stopped by with the family last Wednesday (the 14th) for dinner. We decided to try the Kirby, Jake's Salmon, and the Chicken Ramen. The sushi rolls were decent, but honestly, the ramen was a bit of a letdown. I kind of regret not getting the Chicken Udon instead—I have a feeling that would have been the better choice. It wasn't a bad meal, but I expected a bit more from the noodles.
