Wo Kee has become our extended family’s Sunday lunch spot. They have a big dining room that’s perfect for groups, and portions are generous — great for sharing. Solid, classic Chinese comfort food. The Fish Fillet Home Style and Double Cooked Pork (lechon-style pork belly with veggies in brown sauce) are always crowd-pleasers, even with the kids. They do Hot & Sour Soup right, and we always order the garlic snow pea leaves and pan-fried noodles. The crispy garlic chicken was a pleasant surprise too. The first time I tried the food at this place it was a great experience. The food was great. The portions were big. Today I ordered food again and the portion felt like it was so much smaller than last time. I thought it would be enough to go around but it was not. Pretty disappointed. The containers they used were smaller than I thought. If I had known, I would have ordered somewhere else.
