Alpin Bistro is NOT what you’re expecting! Alpin Bistro is literally Paris in Gainesville Florida! Who knew? I’m absolutely blown away with this culinary experience. I’ve been to France, enjoyed their best and even they could take away delectable twists on familiar staples. Yes, I’m starting with dessert! Crème Brûlée with lemon and thyme candied crust sends you into a new hemisphere. The chocolate mousse is a creamy, delicate fruit topped kiss from a new lover! The best crepes in town, maybe even the world. Seriously this place has a great menu and their weekend brunch is worth a detour if you have never been. The crepe suzette we got were flambéd in an orange liqueur and served with candied orange peels. We also got an amazing strawberry milk that was much more complex and natural of a flavor than we expected. I wish I could give 6 stars.

What a gem! I’m so impressed with Aplin. From the amazing service to the stunning authentic French selections, this is a fantastic choice for brunch! We had the mimosas and the protein tartine. It was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the crepe sucre with Grand Marnier for dessert! Light and sweet. We’ll be back for sure!
