I have been going to Flaco’s for 15 years plus. I am disappointed in the fact that I no longer live there and drove out of my way to get flacos only to be let down. I have attempted to call the phone lines and no one answers. I ordered a ropa vieja burrito with mango habanero. I come home to Orlando only to find out that they did not serve me the ropa vieja on my burrito. None the less my burrito is mostly just filled with rice. I would like a refund however I cannot get a hold of anyone.

The chicken and plantains arepas was hot, fresh and full of flavor (see photo). The meat in my companion's beef bowl was overcooked and a bit dry with minimal tomatoes. The server seemed unaware and/or a bit confused when we asked about the beers they served there. Overall worth a try, the beef bowl may be better for the next person.

The biggest problem with this restaurant is not the food—it’s the customer service. I asked a simple question about a sauce before using it and was given incorrect information. When I brought the issue to the staff’s attention, I expected at least a polite response or an apology. Instead, I was met with an unprofessional and dismissive attitude. Everyone makes mistakes, but the way a business handles those mistakes says a lot about how they value their customers.
