This is the second time I've driven two hours for this pizza and will not be the last. Service is great and the pizza is some of the best I've ever tried. The storefront is unassuming but the interior is quirky without trying too hard. Sign the wall in chalk and chow down on perfectly crisp crust and creative flavor combinations using local products. My only regret was not getting another pizza to bring home with me.

Heard great reviews about this place and read an article last year that they were ranked top three in the state of Illinois for best pizza which is a very bold statement. Finally able to stop in and check this place out. Went with the recommendation I was given on ordering the sweet corn Pizza. Was good. Not amazing but good. I think some of the reviews are comparing apples to oranges as when you think of Chicago Pizza versus this place they're not the same. I also am not a fan of white sauce on pizza so I need to give this place a second opinion and stop in and try a red sauce pizza. Overal

I believe that my search for the BEST PIZZA in the world (outside of Italy) has ended. "BAKED PIZZA" in Galesburg, Illinois (you read correctly, ILLINOIS!) serves an unbelievable pie. I had a five hour layover between Amtrak journeys (Southwest Chief and California Zephyr) so wanted to have best possible nosh in this Abraham-Lincoln-Slept-Here town within walking distance from the train depot. Thanks to Google Maps, Baked Pizza was top on the list. Sadly, they are closed on Sundays - my scheduled stop in Galesburg. So, I went to another local pizza place. That was an unfortunate disappoin

This place has a very limited menu, mostly focused on pizza, but even the pizza pies have very few ingredients to choose from. They also have a few other items, like soup, a couple of sandwiches and a house salad. One of the ingredients that they offer is potatoes. So I had to try a regular crust pizza with potato as an ingredient, and it was very good . They have a regular crust pizza and what they call deep dish pizza, which by Chicago standards is definitely not even close to a deep dish.
