Had lunch there with a friend. Everything was very bland and flavorless. The hummus had no flavor and needed salt. Would have been better served with garlic toasts or something to add flavor. The burrata was tasteless and the balsamic glaze wasn't nearly enough. It was served with a whole pint of grape tomatoes, which was way too many tomatoes. The paper serving dishes and plates were disappointing as was the plastic flatware. For about $20 a person there should be real dishes and silverware. When eating tapas everyone needs their own small plate to put their food on. We did not get those until we asked for them. The waitress completely bussed our table while we were still sitting there which was uncomfortable - we were the only ones in the place. She could have waited until we left. Overall, it was disappointing. We always try to support Garland downtown but not sure we'll be back.

I recently visited Lola's Tapas Café & Wine in Garland, and it was a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The soft Spanish guitar music created a relaxing ambiance, and the staff treated me like family. The menu features a nice selection of tapas, which are perfect for sharing or enjoying as a light meal. I ordered the La Española Salad, and it was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. My only suggestion would be to add a few more seafood tapas to the menu, as I would have loved to see more seafood options. Other than that, everything was excellent, and I look forward to coming back to try more dishes. If you're looking for a cozy spot with great food, wine, and hospitality, Lola's is definitely worth a visit!I
