I order delivery from here at least twice a week. I order on the days they have the Beef tips and rice and also liver with onions days. Their selection is pretty good. My mom also likes the food because it’s not salty and well flavored. We love the broccoli casserole, sweet potato casserole, turnip greens and Mac n cheese. If you want a place with home cooking you should really give it a try. The staff is also nice on the phone as well if you need to know what’s on the menu for the day.

The people handing the selected food to me were very nice. All the food looked delicious. The available seating was very nice. One guy was servicing a large number of tables, helping people and clearing tables. Getting his help wasn't possible on my visit.

My boyfriend was having to take lunch in Gastonia and he decided to have me meet him here. It was AWFUL!!! The chopped steak and Salisbury steak were way too salty, he got mashed potatoes and fried squash. I tried the squash and it was tasteless. I did not try the mashed potatoes, but they looked tasteless as well. I had the broccoli casserole and dressing and both were tasteless and desperately lacked salt. We also got dessert. He got the strawberry cheesecake and I got the egg custard pie and usually if most places have bad food, they usually redeem themselves with the desserts..not the case

Has been a while since we had lunch there. We don't live in the area. I love 7 layer salad, but it was full of imitation bacon bits, the taste overwhelmed the salad. Food quality is not what is once was, no longer the great tasting southern dishes you once had. The employees serving were absolutely wonderful, friendly and accommodating, but we will not be going back.
