This place did not disappoint. The food was simply amazing. The burnt ends french dip sandwich was unbelievable to include the dipping sauce. The ribs (I ordered 2 bones on the side) was supper delicious without having to put any sauce on them. They fell off the bone with ease. The owner Wardell is one of the nicest man I've met in a long time. We had a good conversation and enjoyed hearing his story on his path from the beginning to today! Great American. Hands down an original Kansas City BBQ joint for all to enjoy!

My husband and I have driven past a few times and finally stopped in to try it. We are so happy that we did! We shared the brisket potato skins which were topped with cheese, brisket, jalapeños, and green onion. We asked for no bacon bits which we were told was not a problem at all. The taste was fabulous. I had the brisket Mac n cheese as my main dish and had to take some home because the portion is big. My husband was very please with the two-meat platter.
