What a find for good ol’ diner vibes. My fiancé and I enjoyed ourselves from the time we walked in. The service was so kind and genuinely friendly. Francis was our server and what a doll! The 3 meat omelette was delicious, loved the fresh veggies in it. The waffle was thick and fluffy and everything we wanted. Super attentive and quick service. Donna kept coming by to make sure our coffee was topped off and ask if everything was ok. So nice to know that good service is still out there and today we found it at Kathy’s Kichen. Definitely will be regular customers now!

Here in Goldsboro, N.C. on Ash Street is Kathy’s Kitchen. It once was a Woolworth’s store evident by the swivel lunch counter stools still in use there. This restaurant is a main artery of this community. Lots of senior citizens there for breakfast. When I am there for breakfast it reminds me of sitting at my grandma’s table on the farm. I’m guessing that is why other seniors are there to, rekindling old memories. I’m proud to bring visiting friends and family to Kathy’s Kitchen because they always leave delighted. We stopped otw home from the beach and was absolutely pleased. Our server Angel was awesome the food was more than you could eat and absolutely delicious. The cost was unbelievable very unexpected at how much we got for such a good price. Definitely put this place as a stop when traveling in the area.
