Soong Thai restaurant was a delightful find! The food was fantastic, w/authentic flavors that really stood out. Each dish was prepared with fresh ingredients, & the spices were just right. The atmosphere was small & cozy, making it a perfect spot for an intimate meal or a relaxed day date. The service was friendly & attentive, adding to the overall great experience. The only downside I could find was that the portions were on the smaller side, especially if you have a hearty appetite like me. We ended up ordering 3 entrees for the 2 of us to feel satisfied. The initial chicken and rice soup (free) had a broth so delicious I want to baptized in it. Clear with strong flavor, bits of crispy garlic and scallion. The satay was satay, but the chunky peanut sauce was excellent. Wife got the pad thai which was saucy and flavorful and al around better than the restaurants in Orlando, Winter Springs and Lake Mary (you know who you are). I got the garlic and black pepper frog legs and I loved them. Super juicy and tender, fantastic flavor. Next time it's the crispy duck. It was worth the 40 minute drive from Sanford.

Pricey and small portions but food was good. I ordered the papaya salad, chicken red curry, chicken satay and chicken and shrimp pad thai. Pad thai, salad and curry, delicious, perfect heat. Ordered Thai hot and they actually made it that way and it was great. The chicken satay had a bit much of ginger but I ate it all. Walked in and waited about 15 minutes for everything. The host was also kind.
