Mudpenny was a delightful Goggle "coffee near me" discovery after house hunting in the area! We stopped to get warmed up and go over our house for sale notes. We left after great lattes and incredible gormet carrot cake cupcakes. We plan to go back to try several delicious sounding breakfast items. First time dining at MudPenny. We got there when they opened at 9am on Saturday morning. I ordered the build your own breakfast with eggs scrambled bacon and funfetti pancake and breakfast potatoes. Also had the maple bourbon coffee which was absolutely delicious even ordered one coffee to go. My girlfriend ordered the Muddy Cristo which she said was fabulous. I will definitely be back. Our server was great, kind, nice, and helpful.

Ava is the BEST server! Best smile best food suggestions. I highly recommend the avocado toast and the salmon toast. The lattes are amazing and the atmosphere is so chill and relaxed. Veru nice interior and wonderful staff. Neat water dispenser. Cannot wait to come back

The food was pretty good. I liked the fire toast in Rockford a lot better. The restaurant is very loud. We ended up sitting in the cafe side so we could have a conversation. The service was not great. The staff was more concerned with socializing with and braiding each other’s hair.
