Disappointing Dining Experience I recently visited a restaurant based on appealing photos I saw on DoorDash, but I was left thoroughly unimpressed. As a resident of Washington DC, I've had my share of great meals, but this one fell flat. Upon arrival, I noticed that everything looked old and uninviting, which was not what I expected from the enticing images online. With a name like Texas Best Smokehouse expectations are high. Chicken was very dry, overcooked and tasted like dirty smoke. Creamed corn was not great and the Mac and cheese was mushy. No bueno.
