I have so much to say about this place I will try to keep it quick and concise. Trastevere hits all the marks- The food is delectable- I especially recommend the beef carpaccio and the Stracotto and they have an extensive wine/spirits collection. It has gorgeous layout, lovely color scheme lots of seating options including private booths. This place has true style and elegance. Really cool experience in Brooklyn if you're looking for a fancy meat restaurant with a different type of vibe. Décor is beautifully done, and the menu is heavy on the pasta, chicken, lamb and veal. Although they do have a ribeye steak option, this is not a steakhouse. They seem to pride themselves on a lighter style, so you don't feel terribly stuffed when you leave. This restaurant is located in the spot where the old Café Venezia used to be, and is fairly large, complete with a second floor equipped with some very large tables for big groups.
