Bernie’s was a great classic take on American and Italian food. The vibe is very retro with retro style plating and dishware. We had to put our names down for a 7:45 table. We luckily got to sit outside which was nice in the summer but we waited for an hour and 45 minutes. Once we got there we got the Caesar salad which is a staple and a must try. The lettuce was crunchy and perfectly seasoned with the dressing and coated well. The breadcrumbs were fresh and the cheese was great quality. Bernie’s is a neighborhood gem! The food and the service are impeccable. Most people come for the chicken parmesan (classic and delicious) but you can’t go wrong with your choice for dinner. We typically opt for shrimp cocktail, the wedge salad (comes with a big juicy slice of thick cut bacon!), the burger and the chicken piccata. The chicken parm and piccata are both large enough to share with multiple people (or a nice portion for takeaway). Don’t sleep on the sundae for dessert - every meal needs a sweet treat at the end! I absolutely love it here! This was my second time going and the food and vibes were even better than I imagined. My fave dish’s are the vinegar chicken and the ice cream Sunday. We also tried the wings, Caesar salad, eggplant parm and martini this time and all were phenomenal. I can’t wait to go back

I get the hype around this place now. Bermie’s has a nice casual atmosphere, great service, and generous portions of great comfort food. I ordered the burger, and it was outstanding—a big, perfectly cooked, juicy patty stacked with fresh toppings and served with some nicely done onion rings. And if you’re there on a weekend, don’t skip the tiramisu. It’s to die for and honestly better than what a lot of Italian restaurants serve. The only downside is how popular this place is.
