an all timer restaurant for me. we went to the bushwick spot a bunch and this is our first time at this new location. happy to announce that the food is just as great, even if the menu is smaller (i miss the egg rolls, fried rice, and sticky duck necks 😭). the dishes feel familiar yet given an elevated viet-mex twist - herby, light, complex, funky, hearty. the new space is more intimate and gives it a more personal feel. will come back over and over again. just need to try their morning offerings now…

Everything about this place is wonderful. The atmosphere is so intimate and romantic. The service was 100/10 and the food was INCREDIBLE. Their red curry is the best curry I’ve ever had. It was spicy with so much flavor and there were mushrooms in it, just so amazing. Also before the meal they provide some sauces and O M G they were incredible. Their ginger hot sauce was out of this world and this other sauce with chillis and fish sauce was sooo good, it elevated the meal so much. This place was so good. It had an inviting and cozy ambiance, swift and friendly service and each dish was very flavorful. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and they made us feel special. We had compressed timing and I was amazed at how fast the dishes came out. The tuna cracker - very fun to eat, the perfect snack. My favorite was the curry with bass. At first I wasn’t sure about the more limited selection on the menu but now I think it just shows confidence that each dish that’s on there is excellent. We’ll be back for sure.
