So happy to have Zum Schneider back! We went for the World Cup Germany vs Ivory Coast match and the atmosphere was great, in typical Zum Schneider fashion. There was a spontaneous afterparty with the JaJaJas playing Octoberfest classics and everyone celebrating - a lot of fun. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired for. We couldn’t place any order for 30 mins and after chasing down and cornering our waitress (literally, and she was a bit annoyed about it) it took a long time again until the drinks and food arrived. Awful experience. We paid 50 dollars each to come and watch the Germany vs Côte d’Ivoire game which was supposed to include drinks to that value. We queued at 3pm to get in and were told to sit on table 8. After half an hour of all waitresses telling us it’s not their section I went up to try and order at the bar and was told couldn’t order there, asked several waitresses again and they all said we’re not their table. Eventually the same person who said she’s not our waitress came over and said “well apparently now I’m your waitress” practically snarling at us. We ordered and she asked for a c

CAUTION: They auto add 20% gratuity and then still ask you to tip on top of that. Saw so many people fall for this and tip additional 15-20%. They do it so quick so you don’t notice. Extremely predatory behavior. Also food was not very good.
