The food and drinks at Chez Genese are actually as good as they look in the pictures we posted! The smoked salmon and their iced coffee with the seasonal flavor of syrup were particularly impressive. Great for a date or small family gathering. The food prices make it a place that we can only go occasionally, although you do get what you pay for on quality. Coffee prices are actually reasonable for the area though, especially for the quality!

I have been meaning to try this place for forever, and am so thrilled that I did. The aesthetic is so pleasant as are the employees I have had the pleasure of interacting with. To start, I tried one of the hot teas (which was great) as well as a single lemon ricotta pancake. I thought this was phenomenal! As my entree, I decided on the breakfast pizza. The flavors were good, but I could have appreciated more seasoning as I had to add salt and pepper. If you, like me, love a French restaurant, this isn't the place for you. I confess I was excited to visit, but I'd seen online that the menu didn't seem to offer traditional options. Still, I decided to go and take a chance. The place is charming, super well-located, a little difficult to park.
