Yats is a little bit of Louisiana right here in Indiana! My family is from northern Louisiana and one of my favorite meals is the real jambalaya. This Jambalaya at Yats is AMAZING! Plus, Brooke is such a pleasant person. Fantastic New Orleans atmosphere! Highly recommend if you want that authentic down south cooking! Ⓜ️°J°

A friend of mine recommended this place years ago and today, we finally made it! I ordered the Chorizo Etouffee with chicken and the better half ordered the Drunken Chicken. The order came out in less time than it actually took us to order it, and I realized that was par for the steady stream of customers they had coming in and going out while we were there. The etouffee was flavorful and spicy with a nice amount of meat and rice, I was happy to discover it wasn't a plate full of rice!! The bread that came with the meal was delicious - someone said Old Bay?! Count me as a fan! Price was

What an incredible Cajun meal perfect for 2. We stopped in on a whim and were so amazed at the flavors, so so good! We had the 1/2 & 1/2 (2 entree’s 1/2 each). Chili cheese Red beans and rice and crawfish Étouffée with Crusty bread served along side yummmmmy. Staff was kind, you can even thank the cook while filling your beverage as there is a window into kitchen. He’ll slide your order out in record time! Fast & great service. We’ll be back. Place was really clean with plenty of seating!!!

Little spicey this time for this light weight 😋 but my friend added more hot sauce to his Drunken chicken. My good go to dish but wanna try the red bean next time. Not a very eco friendly restaurant with Styrofoam plates and plastic cutlery so they dont need to do dishes or have the staff to do it maybe. My third visit there and second dine in experience. Yummy Yats!
