I recently ate at Mi Rancho in Hackensack and had the carne asada and fried ice cream. The carne asada was flavorful, tender, and cooked well, with generous portions and traditional sides that complemented the meal nicely. The fried ice cream was a great way to finish crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and sweet without being overwhelming. Our server Kluivert Troya was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Overall, a satisfying meal, and I'd definitely come back to try more items on the menu.

This was my last straw! I frequent this place, because I actually love their tacos (when done properly). I have experienced inconsistency to another degree. I drive from towns away, just to be disappointed most times. I have finally learned my lesson. Ordered tacos to go-soft shells were microwaved in a plastic ‘to-go’ container…chicken seems steamed in the microwave…and the few pieces of steak were dry. Had such a great experience at Mi Rancho! Dianna was our waitress and she was absolutely wonderful. Her smile and hospitality were so warm and sweet, and she made us feel so welcomed from the moment we arrived.
