I’ve been to Lazzat a few times before, though my last visit prior to this one was about a year ago. A couple of days ago, we decided to stop by for lunch, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The service was quite slow, which already set the tone. I specifically asked if the mantu were fresh, and I was told they were. However, when they arrived, they were only lukewarm. The dough on top was chewy and dry, and the filling itself felt dry as well — overall, it didn’t taste fresh at all. I was really hoping for hot, steamy, juicy mantu, so that was a letdown. I’ve been coming here for about a week straight. Amazing people and amazing environment. This is honestly one of the best middle eastern restaurants I’ve ever gone too. The server Usmon is extremely chill and friendly go everyone. He got me my food quickly and it was absolutely delicious. Amazing place highly recommend.

I recently visited Lazzat Restaurant in Hanover Park with my wife, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated. However, despite visiting on a weekend, there were very few customers, which was surprising. When we received the menu, many items were already marked as “not available.” Even after asking the server, several additional dishes were unavailable.
