What a great spot! I ordered the Sabaayad Wrap with beef. The meat was very tender and well seasoned, and the bread (very similar to an Indian roti, if not the same) was buttery and flaky with a tender bite. The wrap also came with a side salad. I feel that most restaurants treat side salads as an afterthought, but not this one! It was very zesty and flavorful, and complemented the richness of the meat in the wrap. For only $11, this is probably the best and most affordable lunch in the neighborhood. The staff is very sweet and welcoming, and the restaurant has a very relaxing atmosphere. I

A real neighborhood gem - and the only Somali restaurant in the entire city! The food here is always tasty and flavorful: from fresh hummus to tender mango curry chicken to spicy chai and refreshing isbarmuuto (a citrus drink). The owner and the employees are very friendly and attentive and the place itself is cozy and welcoming. My go to restaurant ever since I moved to the area.
