UPDATE: Updating our experience to 3.5 from a 1 since the owner was very responsive and took our feedback, once they became aware. The owner cannot be everywhere at once, so we really appreciate their responsiveness and taking feedback. Based on that, we feel we can give feedback, and would consider going back to Coffee Hound for another type of drink. The drinks taste good and the pastry was okay. Atmosphere was relaxing and layout was comfortable. However, their customer service left a bad taste in my mouth. The barista did not greet or acknowledge us until we said “hello”. To our question which pastry is the most popular she just mumbled something looking very bothered. If I walk into an establishment where I’m bringing my hard earned money I expect certain things and, frankly, wanting someone to at least greet you is already a low bar. The drinks weren’t great. My husband got a coconut capp & I got a vanilla latte. You couldn’t taste the syrup in either of them, & there was no sweetness. We ended up having to add Splenda to both. The shop itself was cute & service was fine.
