It's a drive-in but enough A/C inside seating in a large drive-in. Great friendly service. You'll probably get what you're looking for, relatively. I had the crab bisque and crab roll..., both outstanding. Prices were fair and lots more to try..., I'm looking forward to my next visit.

23 bucks for a platter piled high with fries and strip clams. they fried the clams right and didn't skimp on the portion. The place is counter service, which I always appreciate as well. It is a little out of the way, and has a definite Independent proprietorship vibe of a place that's been around for a few decades, which I appreciate. I would come back and bigly recommend it to anybody in the area, as far as shacks go, it's the best one I've been to in the Hartford area.

Amazing Fish & Chips, slaw, tartar sauce. Perfect lunch on this St. Patrick’s Day!! You can’t get any fresher unless you’re on Cape Cod. Arrive between 11-11:45 to avoid the lunch crowd. It’s packed nice and will stay warm if you bring it home to enjoy. They have so many specials daily, chowder, burgers, jumbo hot dogs with all the toppings. Mickey’s Oceanic Grill is a gem! Staff is friendly, fast, and hardworking!

An amazing niche lunch restaurant. This gem is trapped in time, but the food and experience is consistently excellent. Don't expect frills, but if you want some of the best fried food around, this is your place. Definitely try the clam strips if you are into that kind of thing!
