First time here. The place was not very busy. We stood waiting to be seated, and someone behind what I think was the sushi bar motioned with his head for us to sit at a table. We were seated for about 10 minutes before anyone came over. The waitress was not in a terribly good mood. The food was very good. I liked the wonton soup and general tso chicken. There was a good portion, and had a nice zip to it. What i couldn't understand was the group in the restaurant that thought it was ok for 2 of their younger children to literally run around and throw paper airplanes that landed wherever! Incred

This place used to be one of the best Chinese-American restaurants in Delaware county. Now, I would say it's only about on par with an average city counter restaurant on a good night. Looking for an option for decent take out on a weeknight when you're ending your day later than expected can be a challenge. My wife suggested Sampan, which seemed like a safe option. She asked me to order a "big broth noodle bowl" which they corrected me and said it was a "deluxe wonton noodle bowl". Had the eggplant with tofu and it was perfect! We also had some sushi and cocktails which were pretty decent but the drinks were a little pricey for being basic drinks. They had run out of a bunch of things when we were there and a lot of items we wanted to order were unavailable.
