Classic 50s American Diner Near LAX | Great Breakfast, Friendly Service & Free Parking After landing at LAX at 6:00 AM, all we wanted was a comforting breakfast and a good cup of coffee before continuing our day. We arrived at Chips Restaurant around 7:00 AM on July 3rd, and with the holiday weekend approaching, the streets were incredibly quiet. I stopped by for breakfast. I was seated right away, was able to place my order, and my food came out quickly. I ordered the chilaquiles. The food was delicious and the service was incredible. They offered me a to go box for my food and a to go cup for my diet coke. Will be returning! Highly recommend. Love the vintage diner vibe.

Definitely an old school diner with great music playing in the background. I ordered the Denver Omelette (3 eggs) with hashbrowns (it was ok) and a side of fruit (good). If in the area, I would consider stopping by again and trying something different. Limited parking available on side street. Friendly staff but they did take a bit to bring the check so I had to go to the counter and pay.
