A small spot located in downtown Hayward is a great spot for some fresh and tasty sushi. I didn’t take picture of everything we ordered, but ordered chicken teriyaki, chirashi bowl, a special roll and nigiri. All were good quantities for the price. The place is small and tight space with only a few tables, but such a good spot. They do takeout as well!

I ordered the Salmon Teriyaki. I was given the Chicken instead. The sashimi I ordered had a bad fishy taste, not fresh at all. Not only did they get my order wrong, but the food quality has really dropped in this place. Im not ordering from here anymore. Usually this would be a free meal but they just offered to replace it. Im not driving back. Maybe if the quality was fresher.

A tiny, and I mean tiny!, hole in the wall place that has superb sushi for very reasonable price. Recently discovered this place and been coming back regularly. The food has been very enjoyable every time. Hard to get a table during rush hour, so there’s a lot of takeout orders. Let’s keep on supporting good local places like this so we all can enjoy good food in Hayward.

Kansas hands down is a fantastic value in Hayward for Japanese food and you get very generous portions of food for the price paid! My husband got bento box with tempura and teriyaki beef and I got Chicken Katsu and teriyaki beef. My husband says the tempura is awesome it is not greasy like other tempura he has tried. There is so much in the bento box I don't think we can eat it all in one sitting!
